I am a natural light photographer so when it comes time for your session, I only use the light from the sun and it’s reflections to create beautiful portraits that re simply timeless and creative. You don’t have to worry about poses or feeling awkward in-front of the camera, even if you’re not used to taking family portraits.
My team and I always have a variety of poses to choose from for families, looking back on those portraits you won’t even tell you were being posed because of how candid they will look! This is a fun experience for everyone and we help make it easy by telling jokes, playing games with the whole family and letting the kids relax and act silly at the start to warm up to our team.
Outdoor sessions are scheduled within the early mornings from 8:30 am to 10:30 am for a nice soft light, or the last two hours of the daylight 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm (golden hour), depending on the location. Upon booking, you will receive a style guide to ensure you get the most out of your session and look & feel your absolute best!
If you need help deciding on a location, don’t worry! We will send you our welcome guide via email with a list of our favorite locations in South Jersey to choose from. If you have a location in mind, please let us know when you contact us!
I am always keeping my eye on the weather and usually don’t cancel a session until the about an hour before, since the weather can change with no notice. My team and I will always be in touch a few days prior to your session, should the weather look questionable that way everyone can plan accordingly.
I. Reserve your session.
How exciting! Send me your details below in our contact form at the bottom of the page and we can chat about your preferred collection, time, date and location. You will then receive a contract to sign, questionnaire and invoice.
All sessions require a non-refundable session fee, to secure your session and consult date. Full payment and a signed contract is due within 24 hours of the invoice being sent, to secure your session. If you are interested in a custom payment plan, please contact us. We would be happy to create a payment plan for your session fee that works best for you!
Once all of that is taken care of, your session will be reserved! You will then receive you a welcome guide to get you all ready for your session. It will answer any initial questions you may have and go over styling options for your portrait sessions.
II. Take photos.
The day of your family or senior portrait session, all you have to do is get ready and show up to session location. My team and I will be there ready to get started on your portrait session.
If you add on our glam team to your package, our professional hair stylist and makeup artist Melanie will be there at your home to help you get ready a few hours prior to your session.
If it's been a long time since you been photographed professionally or the first time, don't worry about the posing! You will have a mixture of both posed and candid portraits in your gallery to select from.
III. Gallery Reveal
Your gorgeous gallery is now ready! We will set a time to meet and discuss which portraits are your favorites and go over the different wall art and print products we offer. You will find those collections below. Each print or wall art product purchased comes with a high-res and web-res digital image. You will be able to share them on social media and print the digital files anytime you wish to do so.
If you are a out of state client, you will have a proof gallery to make your selections from.
Investment
All sessions require a non-refundable session fee, to secure your session and consult date.
All session fees are $250 and include up to four people. Additional people after four is an extra $25 per person.
Our family and senior portrait sessions fees do not include any digital, print images and wall art products.

Product & Pricing
At Paula Faerman Photography we pride ourselves on providing beautiful, museum-quality print products designed to be handed down from generation to generation.
At your reveal session, you will see examples of our gorgeous products such as print products, albums, and wall art. We will also present you with mock-ups of how wall art can be displayed in your home.
All print products come with a corresponding high-res digital file in an online web gallery active for 10 years, as well as a custom app active for 10 years and of course a lifetime warranty.
Paula Faerman Photography cannot guarantee the print quality of images not printed through our professional printing labs.
Additional Information
Prints and other wall art products can be purchased in your own custom print store.
NJ Sales Tax will automatically be applied to your invoice, the current session fee investment does not include NJ Sales Tax or any travel fees.
A travel fee will depend on mileage & location that is only applied to session 20 miles outside of our office in Mays Landing, NJ.

Let our glam team get you ready before your photoshoot in the comfort of your own home. No need to rush anywhere before your session, our professional hair stylist and makeup artist will get you looking and feeling camera ready.
Both services of hair styling and makeup + skin prep and lashes are a $250 value. (Travel fee included to Atlantic County area only)
